Chorus, phaser and flanger are not very different between them.

"A chorus pedal is very similar to a flanger and a phaser in that it creates two clones of the signal. The difference is that a chorus pedal uses a longer delay between the two signals, which creates a more subtle effect than a flanger or phase shifter."
In flanger effects the clone of the signal are delayed around 10-20ms. There is a chorus pedal code in the forum. You can start taking it and trying to reduce the delay time of the cloned signal.
