Octave Pedal Help

6 years 2 weeks ago #1331 by Captain Coconut
So my dad just bought me this cool programmable pedal and I was messing around with some of the default effects, and I would like to create an octave pedal. I've been playing around with the Daft Punk octaver and I was wondering if there would be any way for me to remove the daft punk part of the sound and just have an octave up or down... ive been changing numbers around to try and do it myself but have gotten nowhere.

welcome Captain Coconut, that's a cool name.
The pedalshield UNO does not have an octaver guitar pedal because the Arduino UNO memory is too small (short) to save enough samples and create the octaver effect.

The pedalSSHIELD DUE has an octaver:

Have a look at that topic and you may get some ideas, although it could be a bit complex.

In a nutshell... no, you cannot remove the distortion from the daft punk octaver, but maybe there is some other way to do an octaver pedal that is still to be discovered...
