Hi Ray,
I'm currently in the debug phase of building my pedal pi, i've decided to install the jessie light OS with the pedal pi codes in built but the link you have provided doesn't contain an .img file rather it seems to be a "file" type format. I have attached the properties of the file.

hey, i've done some further digging and found out that the .img file is okay but i'm not able to update the OS hence cant access the pi.
kindly provide me guidelines on what to do after writing the OS onto the SD card.

Once you have installed the OS into the SD card, you can access the pi either using a mouse/keybord/screen or on "headless mode".
I usually use a keybord/mouse/screen to configure wifi, etc and then just use it in headless mode from my laptop, so you can load different effects, etc.
