Can i use a smartphone charger with output current 1A to power DUE? Because the output current of the usb port is 500mA. The regulator of the board handles the consumption or the entire current is used?
Since the output voltage is constant (5V), the only factor that determines current draw is the load (pedalSHIELD), it will only draw as much current as it needs and no more.
