Jumper1 on the schematic

Hi,

I'm making a pedalshield with STM32 (as mentionned in other posts) and I'd like to make it as lean as possible.
If I understand correctly, If I put Jumper1 to ground It will be better because I'll have one side of the sine on one ADC and the other side on the other ADC.
I would like to know the purpose of the two 100k resistor and the 47u capacitor near Jumper1 when Jumper1 connected to ground.

Jumper JP1 is to make an experimental circuit mentioned on a Microchip whitepaper, more info here:

Yes, if you place JP1 the 100K and the 47uF are not needed anymore.
