I'm having issues with the pedal getting input clipping. It's taking in an active bass and I swapped out the capacitors on the pedal like the tutorial suggested. I'm also using effects that may have been intended for a guitar pedal with the original capacitors. It's running usb power.
I'm not sure where the issue lies. I couldn't find any bass specific effects to troubleshoot with.
To be more detailed about the issue; When I use the pedal, I need my bass to be at a very low volume to get a non-distorted signal. I get a lot of crackles and artifacts that I don't think should be there.
If this is a hardware issue, it would be nice to know before I program my own effect.
