pedalSHIELD Bill of Materials and Alternatives

I remember the 782-A000026 pin header from Mouser, but I did not recommend it because there is no datasheet attached to confirm the length of the pins.
The pins look a bit short but even if they are really short, you can also solder them below the PCB:

The PCB holes are metalized so I think it should work the same ;)

So far I am only able to find them in physical electronic store and one Spanish online store .

I'm building one or two of the actual shields (guitar and bass) and am having a hard time finding the 0.5uF film capacitors.

Will these work? Panasonic ECW-F2W564JA

This list includes the above mentioned part. I'll update it, and this post/thread, if answered differently. Please note that both the guitar and bass capacitors are on this list. So if you don't want both make sure you uncheck the one you don't want, but you should be able to order the entire part list in one fell swoop this way. www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDet...?AccessID=762bad2ade

I have used the 0.47uF Panasonic ECQ-V1H474JL and they are great, almost the same size as the 0.1uF. I guess the Panasonic ECW-F2W564JA would also work.

Thanks for the list!

Thanks, I've updated the list so it includes all three sets of film capacitors. So buyer beware!

So the STM32 Nucleo series came up on hackaday.com/ today. These boards run the ARM Cortex Mx series to include the M3 that's in the Due. So you get your 12-bit resolution with a slightly larger than an Uno form factor. Fully Uno R3 Shield compatible, and 20% of the price of a Due, I may just end up switching to these

Hello,

I have 2 "UA741CN", and 2 "LM386N" do you think they are ok to replace the TL072 ?

Thank you!

edit: in their datasheets, i see they are both "single operational amp"... so I guess they won't fit in your board. But... I use my 4 "single amp", do you think it's ok to replace your 2 "dual amp"? in another board of course...

Thanks!

The TL072 is a classic dual op-amp (2 op-amps per IC), the UA741CN is a single op-amp (1 op-amp per IC) so you cannot use it just as replacement.
The LM386 is an audio amplifier, so it does not work either.

In another board and doing a similar circuit with a different layout you can fit of course a quad amp like the TL074.

yes, you can replace the tl072 with the 4558, but it is better to save these chips for a TS808 clone

Some of the parts cannot currently be resolved at Mouser:
  1. 140-50S5-271J-RC
  2. ECQ-V1H104JL
  3. ECE-A1HKA010
  4. 1-390261-2
  5. 3319W-3-504

Do you know how to replace these?
