Hello,

my name is David, im new to this forum.
I just recently build myself a Fuzz Face using old components i salvaged from an old electrical organ.
I used two BC 209 C Silicon Transistors for my Fuzz.
I used the schematics i found here on this website
The only changes due to missing parts: i used a 470K A instead of the 500K A
and also i used a 22uF cap instead of a 20uF.
Other then that i followed to the plan.
My question now is: How do i bias the Circuit (do i calculate the resistors needed after measure? Or do i install pots, and if yes, where?) and what values should i aim for for my Bc 209 C's?
Should i go for the same Voltages the Ac128's need?
I hope my english isn't too awful so you understand what i mean.
Greetings from Germany
David :)

Hi David,
The component replacements you mentioned are absolutely fine.

How do I bias the Circuit (do I calculate the resistors needed after measure? Or do I install pots, and if yes, where?)

well, the bias points that we have in the article are an approximation, using the parts you have you should not have any problems, it is possible that they may vary in some millivolts but they should be pretty similar.

Should i go for the same Voltages the Ac128's need?

yes
