Has anyone ever tried to make a pi pedal with raspberry pi 3b with a bigger display, pure data and a more friendly interface than writing codes?

It is a great idea for a future project, although it will involve some SMD parts (not easy to solder). Pedal-pi is a hard-core project that is easy to build and all the codes are done in simple C.
Including a big display and pure data (with an audio codec) is a fantastic idea but not possible to do with the current circuit. :(

Yes, definitely have to make a new circuit, it does not matter if i can not solder it manually, it is a prefabricated product that can be connected to a raspberry by gpio

Check out the excellent work and write-ups that have been done here:

General Pi setup for pure data:

Tutorial on pd and the delay effect:

Several guitar effects for pd:

I'd like to try converting these pd projects over to C code for the pedal-pi if I can reduce the noise in my setup
