Howto: Metal Enclousure for PedalSHIELD.

The total should be around $25. The enclosure is $8.45, the drilling charges are about $5.50, painting is about $8.95. They drilled 4 small holes for the long, thin screws and that holds it in place. If I remember correctly, I used a couple of pieces of electrical tape as well in spots where there wasn't much clearance.

The web site says there's a $25 setup charge for custom drilling, but I don't think that applies since they have the template already. I paid this charge (and would gladly pay it again given how tight the tolerances are for this job).

Hi, i'm newbie here. :)

I am still building my Pedalshield calmly, but I am interested for a good finish enclosure.

How about you give us some photos?

Hi, the only pics I have apart from the other posted before in this thread are these:

There is also the possibility of doing a 3D printed version, there is another topic talking about that.

Sorry, it took a few days to get these up.

It very much looks like @ja_hurtado's original design. I extended the hole on the bottom to make it easier to connect a USB cable to update the device programming.

Oh, and as a reminder, the second hole on the side is my own, so don't blame the poor workmanship on Pedal Parts Plus.
